Sinemaseverlerin merakla beklediği 84. Oscar Ödül töreni adayları, Tom Sherak ve Jennifer Lawrence’in sunumuyla açıklandı.

Martin Scorsese’nin “Hugo” adlı filmi, “En İyi Film” dahil 11 dalda aday gösterilirken, “The Artist” 10 dalda aday oldu.

Tam 16 kez Oscar’a aday gösterilerek bu alanda kırılması zor bir rekora sahip olan aktrist Meryl Streep, İngiltere’nin eski başbakanı Margereth Thatcher’in hayatından bir kesiti oynadığı “Demir Lady” ile bir kez daha aday gösterildi.

Sinema dünyasının en prestijli ödülleri, 26 Şubat'ta Los Angeles'taki Kodak Tiyatrosu’nda Billy Crystal'in sunuculuğunu yapacağı törenle sahiplerini bulacak.
